Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Hoosier Concrete Construction Inc. website and the services we provide. By accessing this website or hiring us for concrete work, you agree to these Terms.

Section 1

Services Description

Hoosier Concrete Construction Inc. provides residential and commercial concrete construction services throughout Northwest Indiana. Our services include, but are not limited to:

  • Concrete driveways, patios, and sidewalks
  • Foundations and footings
  • Decorative and stamped concrete
  • Concrete repair and replacement
  • Commercial flatwork and site concrete

All work is performed by our trained crews under the supervision of Hoosier Concrete Construction Inc. management. The specific scope of any project is defined in the signed contract for that project.

Section 2

Estimates and Pricing

Hoosier Concrete Construction Inc. provides free estimates for all concrete projects. Estimates are non-binding and do not create a contractual obligation for either party.

Final pricing, scope of work, materials, timelines, and payment terms are established only when both parties sign a written contract. Prices quoted in an estimate may change based on:

  • Changes to the project scope or specifications
  • Material cost fluctuations
  • Site conditions discovered after the initial assessment
  • Permit or code requirements identified during the project

No work will begin until a signed contract is in place and any required deposit has been received.

Section 3

Service Area

Hoosier Concrete Construction Inc. serves customers across Northwest Indiana, including St. John, Crown Point, Valparaiso, Dyer, Schererville, Cedar Lake, Munster, Highland, and surrounding communities.

Service availability for locations outside our primary coverage area is determined on a case-by-case basis. Contact us to confirm whether your project location falls within our service range.

Section 4

Scheduling and Cancellation

Scheduling

Project scheduling depends on crew availability, weather conditions, and permitting timelines. Hoosier Concrete Construction Inc. will provide an estimated start date in the signed contract. Actual start dates may shift due to weather, material delays, or other factors beyond our control.

Weather Delays

Concrete work is weather-dependent. Rain, freezing temperatures, and extreme heat can delay or pause a project. Weather-related delays do not constitute a breach of contract.

Cancellation by the Customer

If you need to cancel a project after signing a contract, cancellation terms and any applicable fees are outlined in your individual contract. Contact us as soon as possible if your plans change.

Cancellation by Hoosier Concrete Construction Inc.

We reserve the right to cancel or decline a project if site conditions are unsafe, if a required permit is denied, or if the customer breaches the terms of the signed contract.

Section 5

Warranty Information

Hoosier Concrete Construction Inc. stands behind the quality of our work. We provide a workmanship warranty on all completed projects, covering defects in labor and installation.

What the warranty covers:

  • Defects in workmanship or installation performed by our crews
  • Structural failures resulting from improper construction techniques

What the warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, including surface scaling from salt or chemical exposure
  • Cosmetic cracking (hairline cracks are a normal characteristic of concrete)
  • Damage caused by third parties, vehicles, heavy equipment, or improper use
  • Issues resulting from customer modifications or additions after project completion
  • Settling or movement caused by soil conditions beyond our control
  • Damage from events such as flooding, earthquakes, or other natural occurrences

Specific warranty duration and terms are included in your signed project contract. To make a warranty claim, contact us at (219) 712-3508 with your project details.

Section 6

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Indiana law, Hoosier Concrete Construction Inc. and its owners, employees, and subcontractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of this website or from any services performed.

Our total liability for any claim related to a project shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for that specific project under the signed contract.

Hoosier Concrete Construction Inc. is not responsible for delays, damages, or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including weather, material shortages, labor disputes, utility disruptions, or government actions.
